One day, they receive news from the mansion where their father, the Duke, lives. It seems that their father has been seriously injured in the war and is on the verge of death. The mother and daughter rush to the mansion, preparing for treatment and getting ready. The mansion they arrive at is a gruesome scene where soldiers injured in the war are taking shelter.
